Iron Chef Celebration Dinner

Thu, Aug 28, 20255:30 PM – 9:30 PM MST

Tanque Verde Ranch is excited to announce that their very own Executive Chef McKenzie O'Leary qualified for the championship round of Iron Chef Tucson! It was an honor to have her represent Tanque Verde Ranch in front of a new audience of food lovers. While last year's champion retained his title, Chef McKenzie's remarkable performance and high placement are a true testament to her exceptional culinary talent and engaging personality.

To celebrate Chef McKenzie's outstanding achievement, Tanque Verde Ranch is hosting a special dinner on Thursday, August 28th, in The Barn. Chef will be offering dishes inspired by her competition, including her celebrated Andouille Sausage Ribeye Tartare and Apple Andouille Pork Chop.

Tucson’s barbecue options range from food trucks to full-service dining rooms. Some focus on classic Texas-style plates with butcher paper and simple sides. Others experiment with fusion dishes that blend barbecue with Mexican and Southwestern flavors. This variety gives diners plenty of options, whether they want a quick lunch or a sit-down meal.
