It's Chile Outside: Green Chile Fest

Sat, Sep 14, 202411:00 AM – 6:00 PM MST

We're bringing all things green chile to Sonoita wine country! You may have tried our famous spicy green chile wine, Old No. 9, but did you know that the alcohol is made by fermenting real, fresh-roasted Hatch green chiles? So in honor of everyone's favorite spicy concoction, we're going all out with live music with Ruta Verbena and Bucky Mills, delicious food truck eats, fresh chiles roasted on-site, local vendors, limited edition locally-made clay cantaritos (first come first serve), and much, much more! We'll be stocked up on those frozen green chile margaritas with tajin y chamoy (if you know, you know) 😉

Saturday, September 14th, 11 AM to 6 PM.

After 4pm, @Talegacoffee at 177 N. Church Ave. transforms into @_Velvetcowboy, serving cocktails, tapas, and late-night bar energy. Velvet Cowboy’s grand opening is Oct. 16, with upcoming events including drag brunches, DJs, and live music.🪩

This weekend’s hours are Saturday from 2pm to midnight and Sunday from noon to 10pm. Featured in this video is the Chilte(penis) martini special, made with chiltepin vodka, agua de chiltepin, and pickle juice, available until they sell out.🍸

“Opening this place feels a little surreal. To now have a space where we can bring together coffee, food, art, booze, and all the weird things we love feels like a reflection of how far we’ve come.” —Tyler Melo
