About

The Spanish-inspired culinary event will take place across Loews' scenic Bill’s Grill patio and Canyon Club restaurant, inviting guests to savor bold flavors, a vibrant ambiance, and an unforgettable evening under Tucson’s dark sky.

This lively reception-style event will showcase a variety of Spanish-inspired dishes crafted by Executive Chef Ryan Clark and his award-winning culinary team, paired with curated pours from Maven’s Oath, the resort’s proprietary wine label. Guests will enjoy live-action cooking stations and elaborate serving displays designed to ignite the senses.

To extend the celebration, guests can book the resort’s exclusive Maven’s Oath Paella Party Package, which includes two event tickets, an overnight stay at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort, complimentary parking, and a Spanish-themed welcome amenity on arrival, the perfect pairing for a flavorful summer staycation.

Tickets for the Maven’s Oath Paella Party start at $130 per person and include access to the full culinary experience along with four drink tickets to enjoy the featured Maven’s Oath wine pairings.

IOU Sushi III has closed. The all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant on North Oracle Road announced the news on Facebook after about 10 years in Tucson. “This is the hardest post I’ve had to write,” the owners said. The post continued, “we have met some great friends who have become family to us.” Tucson Foodie first visited the restaurant in 2017, when it operated as IOU Sushi IV.

Anne Rysdale built @sheltercocktaillounge in 1961 with concrete walls, lava rock, and Cold War nerves. Today, owners Pam Santangelo and Kevin Breutzmann keep the Tucson bar exactly as regulars remember it. Inside, martinis share space with JFK memorabilia, a vintage atomic chandelier, and a suit of armor named Charlie. “Tucson is changing so much, but this has stayed the same. It’s a time capsule,” Santangelo said.
