Normandie 2025 Release Party

Normandie 2025 Release Party

Sat, Sep 6, 20253:00 PM – 6:00 PM MST

Whiskey Del Bac invites whiskey lovers to celebrate the long-anticipated return of Normandie, the distillery’s most awarded and highest-rated special release. Now in its fourth batch, Normandie has already garnered prestigious accolades, including two 93-point ratings from Whisky Advocate, a Gold from the American Craft Spirits Association, and a four-star rating from The Whiskey Wash.

This year, they've switched things up a little.

For the past three years Normandie has consisted of their 100% unsmoked single malt, then finished for over a year in a mix of Calvados barrel. For Batch 4, they've added the lightest kiss of smoke to the blend.

They'll be joined by Master Distiller & Blender Mark A. Vierthaler for bottle signings and conversations about the new release, live music from Excelsior Jazz Trio and food for purchase from Parkie Sandwich.

Bottles and cocktails available to purchase.

Bottle sales go live on their website at 8 AM MST on Saturday, September 6 with bottle pick-ups starting at 11 AM at the distillery.

The event is free to attend but they do request you RSVP here.

@Talegacoffee at 177 N. Church Ave. transforms into @_Velvetcowboy after 4 pm, bringing cocktails, tapas, disco lights, and a lively bar atmosphere to the same space. The dual concept comes from the team behind Talega Coffee Co., with coffee and scratch-made breakfast and lunch served during the day, followed by happy hour and bar service at night.

Velvet Cowboy’s grand opening is Oct. 16, with upcoming events including drag brunches, DJs, and live music.🪩

“Opening this place feels a little surreal. To now have a space where we can bring together coffee, food, art, booze, and all the weird things we love feels like a reflection of how far we’ve come.” —Tyler Melo
