Opening up on a Sunday for mom

This event has already taken place

About

What better way to show a mom you love that you care, too, than by feeding her soul and her belly all in one feel swoop?  You could cook her up something special yourself, of course, or if that’s not in your wheelhouse, don’t fret: Feast has got you covered.

On Sunday, May 11, Feast will be open and offering their whole menu, but they'll be whipping up some specials for that special mother in your life, whether she’s your own mom or someone else’s.

You can make a reservation by calling at (520) 326-9363, or clicking on the reservation link on the website.  The menu looks like this, and Feast thinks she’ll find something that makes her feel loved and cared for right back.

IOU Sushi III has closed. The all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant on North Oracle Road announced the news on Facebook after about 10 years in Tucson. “This is the hardest post I’ve had to write,” the owners said. The post continued, “we have met some great friends who have become family to us.” Tucson Foodie first visited the restaurant in 2017, when it operated as IOU Sushi IV.

Anne Rysdale built @sheltercocktaillounge in 1961 with concrete walls, lava rock, and Cold War nerves. Today, owners Pam Santangelo and Kevin Breutzmann keep the Tucson bar exactly as regulars remember it. Inside, martinis share space with JFK memorabilia, a vintage atomic chandelier, and a suit of armor named Charlie. “Tucson is changing so much, but this has stayed the same. It’s a time capsule,” Santangelo said.
