A cruise is an easy vacation; there’s no unpacking and repacking, no barreling through a crowded airport to catch that tight connection, and you still manage to explore a broad spectrum of destinations.  A virtual cruise is even simpler- arrive, we hand you a glass, and before you know it, you’re floating along the Loire, exploring the valley and all it holds for you in the vineyards along its meandering stretch.

This Saturday, August 10, our pal Megan arrives, along with any of you who care to attend, at 2:00 pm with four treats from all over the Loire Valley, all suitable for your summer refreshment, and all delicious and reflective of the clean minerality and freshness that the Loire offers.  You can call us at (520) 326-9363 and we’ll polish that glass for you and have wine samples at the ready.  As is often the case, the tasting costs $18 plus tax and tip and affords you the opportunity to taste, learn, question and rub elbows with like-minded wine tasters.

The dual concept comes from the team behind Talega Coffee Co., with coffee and scratch-made breakfast and lunch served during the day, followed by happy hour and bar service at night. Now, a year later, the Salvadoran food stand has grown into a food truck, a Central American market, and a gathering place for Tucson’s Latin American community. Stop by Asaditos Zulmyta for their grand opening and Central American Independence Day celebration on Sept 12th from 7-10pm! Enjoy free aguas frescas, specials, a DJ, and more.
