Come join us at Charro Steak & del Rey on Wednesday, August 28 at 6:30 p.m. for a classic Primavera Cooks! event! Set in a beautiful and historic setting, Charro Steak is the newest family member of Tucson's famed El Charro Café family that has been in operation in Tucson since 1922! Diners will enjoy a multi-course meal prepared by one of Tucson's finest chefs and several apprentices.
Each apprentice chef is responsible for inviting five guests to the dinner to share in this culinary adventure. Please make sure to purchase the five diner tickets and distribute them to your guests or coordinate with your guests to make sure they purchase them while they are still available.
Cooks! proceeds will fund emergency and transitional housing for women and families. Unsheltered women in Pima County are greatly underserved with limited emergency shelter options in Tucson and in Pima County. Last year, 483 women were in emergency shelters, transitional housing, or safe haven, and more than 67% of those women were unsheltered, according to the Tucson Pima Collaboration to End Homelessness. Primavera Foundation is working hard to change options for housing for women and families. Your support will help make that a reality!
