Primavera Cooks! - Tavolino

Primavera Cooks! - Tavolino

Wed, Aug 14, 20246:30 PM – 6:30 PM MST

Come join us at Tavolino on Wednesday, August 14 at 6:30 p.m. for another Primavera Cooks! event! We're excited to partner with Tavolino, which fuses an intimate neighborhood trattoria, a place where family and friends can come together, within a modern elegant setting! Diners will enjoy a multi-course meal prepared by one of Tucson's finest chefs and several apprentices.

Each apprentice chef is responsible for inviting five guests to the dinner to share in this culinary adventure. Please make sure to purchase the five diner tickets and distribute them to your guests or coordinate with your guests to make sure they purchase them while they are still available.

Cooks! proceeds will fund emergency and transitional housing for women and families. Unsheltered women in Pima County are greatly underserved with limited emergency shelter options in Tucson and in Pima County. Last year, 483 women were in emergency shelters, transitional housing, or safe haven, and more than 67% of those women were unsheltered, according to the Tucson Pima Collaboration to End Homelessness. Primavera Foundation is working hard to change options for housing for women and families. Your support will help make that a reality!

Tucson’s barbecue options range from food trucks to full-service dining rooms. Some focus on classic Texas-style plates with butcher paper and simple sides. Others experiment with fusion dishes that blend barbecue with Mexican and Southwestern flavors. This variety gives diners plenty of options, whether they want a quick lunch or a sit-down meal.
