Whiskey Del Bac Four-Course Pairing Experience with Chef Daniel Scordato

Join us for an unforgettable evening in collaboration with Whiskey Del Bac, Arizona's premier whiskey distillery, and Chef Daniel Scordato of The Treasury 1929. This exclusive four-course pairing dinner showcases award-winning whiskeys thoughtfully matched with a menu crafted specifically for the occasion. Set within the historic elegance of The Treasury 1929, this exclusive dining experience pairs internationally award-winning Arizona whiskeys with a thoughtfully curated four-course menu created by acclaimed Chef Daniel Scordato.

Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy expertly crafted whiskey pairings while learning the stories, craftsmanship, and history behind each spirit from special guests Mark A. Vierthaler, Master Distiller & Blender of Whiskey Del Bac, and Janna Hoffman, Southern Arizona Sales Manager. Together, they will guide guests through each whiskey, share the distillery's journey, and answer questions during this intimate culinary experience.

After 13 years, Agustín Kitchen has permanently closed its doors at Mercado San Agustín.

The space already has its next chapter lined up. Il Santo, an Italian concept from hospitality veteran Vito Prencipe and fifth-generation Tucsonan Bonnie Callahan, will take over the space.

“I leave this chapter with mixed emotions as I say goodbye to our friends, patrons and colleagues at Agustín Kitchen. It’s with gratitude and admiration that I thank our managers, chefs, staff, and purveyors both old and new for their years of collaboration. Agustin Kitchen has meant so much to so many over this time and has been a beloved anchor in the Mercado District community.” — Owner Adam Weinstein

Festival season is here!

Tucson Foodie and @Artstateaz are two of many local organizations creating events and opportunities for food vendors, artists, and makers throughout our community.

As opportunities start popping up, please be mindful of potential scams.

Both of our organizations have clear processes for applications, approvals, and payments. We will never randomly contact you asking you to send money to secure a spot at one of our events.

If you receive an unsolicited message asking for payment, take a minute before responding or sending money.

If it seems weird, it probably is.

When in doubt, reach out to us directly through our official channels. We are always happy to verify an opportunity before you pay.

Stay aware, look out for each other, and have a great festival season!
