Yard House Bringing 200 Jobs and 130 Draft Beers to Tucson

Jul 29, 20141 min read

Beer lovers get excited! On August 28th, massive modern public houseĀ Yard HouseĀ will open a Tucson location at Park Place Mall, bringing approximately 200 new jobs to the area along with 130 draft beer selections.

Open daily for lunch, dinner and late night dining, Yard House will span more than 10,000 square feet with seating for nearly 300 guests inside and 48 more on the large outdoor patio.

AĀ glass-enclosed keg room houses as much as 5,000 gallons of beer at one time and beers get delivered by miles of overhead steel and nylon beer lines to aĀ central island bar. Guests can orderĀ a half-yard, traditional pint, shorty or six-pack sampler, and if you feel like keeping it local, choose fromĀ 16 Arizona brewery selections, including Dragoon, Four Peaks, SanTan, Barrio and Borderlands.

Yard House’s food menu featuresĀ over 100 items made from scratch daily, including salads, grilled burgers, tacos, seafood, steaks, ribs, mac ā€˜n’ cheese, and sushi.

ā€œTucson is a great market for Yard House,ā€ said Craig Carlyle, president of Yard House. ā€œWe chose Park Place because of the strong mix of retail, dining and entertainment options. We look forward to showcasing Yard House’s distinctive beer and food offerings to Tucson’s residents and visitors.ā€

The restaurant has dozens of service positions available in the front of house, including bartenders, servers and host/hostesses, as well as ā€œheart of houseā€ positions, such as prep and line cooks. Interested applicants should visit at www.yardhouse.com/careers.Ā For local draft offerings or additional information, visit YardHouse.com,Ā Facebook.com/YardHouse or follow @YardHouse on Twitter.
