The Tucson Museum of Art and Craft Tucson are partnering up to host a celebration of craft beer, food, art and music.
ART on TAP will be held downtown on Saturday, December 5, from 4-9pm at the Tucson Museum of Art (TMA). The event will highlight more than a dozen local and statewide craft breweries, including 1912 Brewing Company, Ten55, Thunder Canyon, and Mother Road.
Food vendors will serve up kettle corn, Italian favorites, and more while you enjoy demonstrations by the Sonoran Glass School, make-your-own beer bottle cap jewelry, and live music by Tucson-based art band, Crystal Radio.
“ART on TAP has more local craft beers and art activities than ever before,” said TMA events coordinator and ART on TAP organizer Matthew Slominski. “If you’ve ever wanted to try nearly every beer made in Tucson, and some from throughout the state, while watching live glass demonstrations and hearing Tucson’s most amazing art band, this is where you want to be!”
It gets better. Attendees are encouraged to dress as their comic hero alter-ego for a costume contest, an idea inspired by the current exhibition, Western Heroes of Pulp Fiction: Dime Novel to Pop Culture.
