Weather is warming up and so is the barbecue competition.
The Independent Distillery is hosting the Grills Gone Wild VII rib competition from 4 – 11 p.m. on Saturday, April 15.
Guests will enjoy barbecue, whiskey, magicians, and live music. Both guests and a panel of judges will vote for their favorite ribs.
General admission grants entry to the event along with the following:
- 8 rib samples
- 1 drink ticket
- 1 food ticket for a pulled pork sandwich and 2 sides provided by Johnny Gibson’s Downtown Market
- Whiskey sampling from 4 – 5:30 p.m.
Additional food and drinks will be available for purchase. Tickets are $31.50 online at grillsgonewildaz.com.
A portion of proceeds will benefit Tu Nidito, a non-profit agency dedicated to supporting children impacted by serious medical conditions and death.
