Since there’s been conflicting information from official sources, here’s the timeline of events so you have a better idea of what’s going on.
US Fries manager Jason Asebrook confirmed over the phone that US Fries will permanently close their doors on Sunday, July 30, but was unable to provide any additional detail.
US Fries owner Thomas Jones called to inform us that we had been misinformed and US Fries has no plans to close.
Customers told us that staff continued to communicate that US Fries is closing. We called Jones and left a voicemail. No response of yet. The US Fries restaurant phone number [(520) 622-8325] voice mailbox is full.
Still no response from Jones — however, we visited US Fries in person, which was open. Asebrook confirmed in person that US Fries will be closed and vacant after 5 p.m. today.
