US Fries on Fourth Avenue to Permanently Close July 30 (RETRACTED)

Fourth Avenue poutine restaurant US Fries will permanently close their doors on Sunday, July 30.

US Fries manager Jason Asebrook confirmed the closure over the phone, but was unable to provide any additional detail.

The original US Fries location opened in September 2014 to offer popular US dishes atop the Quebecois popular dish, poutine. Popular variations include Sweet BBQ Pulled Pork Poutine, Cheeseburger Poutine, and Chicken Fajita Poutine.

Tempe’s location at 414 S. Mill Ave. closed in 2016 after a year in business. Tucson’s location is the only one remaining, but not for long.

Tucsonans looking for local poutine can visit Maynards Market & Kitchen, Cafe a la C’Art, and Prep & Pastry.
