It’s the end of a residency and The Coronet is throwing one last event, an “End of an Era Soirée,” at its current location at 402 E. Ninth St. from 5 – 9 p.m. on Sunday, June 2.

The event will end its five-year run at the original location and begin the process of moving to the new location at Cushing St. — which is expected to open later this summer.

In the meantime, the party will feature food and drink specials at their current location and live music by Jimmy Carr & The Awkward Moments, who will be performing from 7 – 9 p.m.

The location at 198 W. Cushing St. features over 5,000-square-feet of space, almost tripling the current 1,700-square-feet housing The Coronet at 402 E. Ninth St.

In the coming weeks, just after the original Coronet closes, a new cocktail bar concept will open in its place.

At the new Coronet location, Moody Elbarasi will still remain as executive chef and Devon Alsakkaf is sticking around as chef de cuisine. Although, the new kitchen space will see a much more expansive menu.

The Coronet is located at 402 E. Ninth St. For more information, take a look at The Coronet’s Facebook event page
