Perhaps you are already fond of taking a stroll down Scott Avenue downtown, and you tend to pop your head in at more than one local business along the way. However, if you’re not familiar with too many of the spots that offer unique cocktails, this could be the perfect opportunity for you to check out.
There’s a new event taking flight in downtown Tucson — under the wings of those responsible for Penca, Owls Club, and bottle shop Pearly Baker — and it’s called “An Evening on the Scott Avenue Cocktail Corridor.”
In the spirit of Second Saturday Downtown, the Scott Avenue Cocktail Corridor is preparing its debut on Saturday, October 9, and will be its very first monthly event focused around having a good time and gettin’ out and stretching your legs.
“Taste your way down our surprisingly strong cocktail scene — all on one beautiful street,” said Bryan Eichhorst of Penca Restaurante, Owls Club, and Pearly Baker.
To get things started, each of the participating gastronomically-minded businesses will be offering one-of-a-kind cocktails, tastings, and live music along the corridor.
Some of the specials will be available at the locations all day, while the music and tastings will begin around 6:30 p.m. Stay tuned for more details as each participating restaurant and bar will be sharing info closer to the date of the event.
