As in the years past, it’ll be an unforgettable evening of spirited cocktail competitions, tastings of world-class Margaritas and tequilas, the cuisine of the southwest, and more.

Beyond the margaritas themselves, the World Margarita Championship offers more than just a drinking experience. Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy live music, captivating art installations, and exciting raffle opportunities. Raffle baskets filled with valuable prizes donated by community and event partners will be up for grabs. With tickets priced at only $10 for two raffle tickets or $20 for five, attendees have a chance to win while supporting a worthy cause.

“The participants at the World Margarita Championship go beyond a simple, classic margarita and transform them into masterpieces,” said Events Chair of Tucson Original Restaurants, Mat Cable, expressing admiration for the participating establishments. “Using inspiration from local ingredients, stunning garnishes, great tequila, and Southwest flair, these inspired drinks are elevated into true works of art.”

Last year’s winners included Nana’s Kitchen with their mouthwatering Mango Tamarindo Margarita, taking the top spot in both the Judges’ and People’s Choice categories.

Tickets for the event, exclusive to individuals aged 21 and above, are available for $75 each.

The 16th Annual World Margarita Championship is not only a celebration of outstanding mixology but also a way to support the Southern Arizona Arts & Cultural Alliance (SAACA). The event’s proceeds contribute to SAACA’s creative arts programs throughout Arizona. Additionally, the event helps raise awareness of Tucson’s rich and vibrant culinary community through the efforts of Tucson Original Restaurants.
