Dog-Washing Event ‘Barks & Brews’ Returns to Barrio Brewing

October 13, 2023
By Matt Sterner

It’s that time of year again when the tails are wagging, the suds are flowing, and the lovely smell of a wet dog flows throughout the Barrio Brewing parking lot. We’re talking about Barks & Brews — the collaborative dog-washing event with Pima Animal Care Center (PACC).

From 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 15, bring along your furry friend for a top-notch wash and then unwind on the patio. Sip on some of Barrio’s finest beverages and enjoy their delicious food offerings, all while your dog gets pampered.

Dog-Washing Prices
  • $20 for small dogs
  • $30 for larger dogs

All proceeds of this event go directly to Friends of PACC, which supports the efforts of the animal shelter to save the lives of animals in need. Chi Omega sorority will also be volunteering with Friends of PACC to help with the dog washing.

PACC will also be hosting a raffle loaded with “tempting prizes.” You’ll just have to stop by to see what they can be.

Barrio Brewing Company is located at 800 E. 16th St. For more information, visit barriobrewing.com. To find out more about volunteer opportunities with Friends of PACC, visit friendsofpacc.org.
