With the promise of cooler weather, unique environment and entertainment, a weekend trip to Patagonia sounds pretty appealing.
This weekend, October 9 through October 11, presents an opportunity to experience the town at its fullest.
For the last 27 years, the community has been putting on their annual Patagonia Fall festival, a platform to showcase their skilled artisans and invite visitors to experience the town. The festival, presented by the Town of Patagonia and the Patagonia Area Business Association, now brings in more than 15,000 visitors.
Guests can expect to eat well throughout the three days, as numerous food vendors and notable Patagonia-based establishments like the Velvet Elvis, Gathering Grounds, Wild Horse at the Stage Shop Inn, and classic Wagon Wheel Saloon are featured, according to the event’s About page.
A Wine and Beer Garden will feature beverages Coronado Vineyards, Arizona Stronghold Vineyards and Wilhelm Vineyards among others.
The popular Patagonia Library book sale will also take place during the festival, as entertainers like Tesoro, Zach Farley, and Buzz and the Soul Senders entertain the crowds.
Proceeds support the activities of the Patagonia Area Business Association (PABA) and the Park Preservation Fund of the Town of Patagonia, who work to preserve, maintain and improve the park’s trees and landscaping as well as its facilities.
