Whether you are a veteran or a newcomer to this summer tradition, this is good news for all beer and wine lovers. Maynards Market has brought back the Summer Wine Tour and Beer Tastings.
This yearâs Wine Tour kicked off in Germany and will continue to feature vino from various global regions, including Spain and Africa, until it loops around to local wineries in September. For $10, guests can sample five different wines per stop. Guests who visit more than five stops on the tour receive a bottle of Maynards AZ Red.
The Summer Beer Tastings run $20 per person, which includes four 6-ounce pours, light bites, and brewery swag. Expect a variety of beers from around the country, including Pennsylvaniaâs Victory Brewing Co., Californiaâs Firestone Walker Brewing Co. and Coloradoâs Odell Brewing Co.
If eating barbeque and drinking beer is more your style, the annual Sear nâ Beer Series takes place every second Saturday in July and August. In true summer tradition, Maynards Market not only cooks the barbecue with beer, but itâs paired with it too.
The upcoming Sear nâ Beer event on July 11 is a special tasting featuring American Born Moonshine. The menu includes Pulled Pork Sandwiches with Pepper Slaw and Pickled Onions, Slow-Roasted and Mustard-Brined Barbeque Chicken, Smoked Sausage with Cornbread Dressing, and more.
$30 includes food and brew pairings, $15 includes the Carolina-style barbecue sans beer (or moonshine).
