Kingfisher continues this year’s culinary road trip with California-Hawaii-inspired dishes alongside their regular menu from August 4 – 16.

This special menu will feature dishes such as Cioppino and “Shoyu Poke Style” Kajiki.

Pastry chef Marianne Banes will whip up desserts such as the Nectarine Blackberry Crisp and Macadamia Coconut Tart.

Beverage offerings include the Tropic Thunder and Ballin’ cocktails along with Wolf Pup Session IPA from Golden Road Brewing.

This year’s last remaining road trip destination is Down South from August 17 – September 3 with chef Jim Murphy.

Drinks

  • Tropic Thunder – Mt. Gay rum, Galliano, pineapple vinegar, red bean paste, pineapple juice, li hing mui rim ($10.50)
  • Ballin’ – Cognac, fig syrup, lemon juice, soda ($10.50)
  • “Wolf  Pup” Session IPA – Golden Road Brewing ($6)
  • Matchbook “Arsonist” – Red Blend, CA ’14 ($9.75)

Appetizers

  • Spicy California Roll Stack – crab meat, jasmine rice, avocado, cucumber, radish, wakame, wasabi, soy- ginger vinaigrette, habanero oil ($12)
  • California / Hawaii Sampler – Hawaiian style poke, Crab Louis, papaya, pineapple, rambutan, candied macadamia nuts, Humboldt Fog Goat Cheese, sea asparagus salad ($24)
  • Blue Cornmeal Crusted Fried Oysters – pico de gallo, chipotle dressing ($14)

Dinner 

  • Grilled and Carved Marinated Lamb Sirloin – orange-tarragon demi, heirloom tomatoes, shaved parmesan, gnocchi with spinach, artichokes, white wine ($26)
  • Cioppino – San Franciscan seafood stew, shrimp, scallops, calamari, mussels, clams, tomato broth, warm garlic toast ($27)
  • “Shoyu Poke Style” Kajiki – grilled rare and carved, wakame, roasted purple potatoes with fennel, bok choy ($26)
  • Baked Stuffed Sole – smoked scallop mouse, kohlrabi, red onions, basil bechamel, roasted purple potatoes with fennel, charred romas ($22)

Dessert

  • Nectarine Blackberry Crisp (served warm) – almond streusel, vanilla ice cream ($8.25)
  • Macadamia Coconut Tart – chocolate ganache glaze, coconut sorbet, chocolate sauce ($8)
