Make some room because haggis is rolling back into town.

The Rillito Race Track is hosting the Tucson Celtic Festival and Scottish Highland Games on Friday, November 3 – Sunday, November 5.

Celebrate the heritage and culture of the Celtic Nations just as it has been done for centuries in Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.

Consider yourself a patron at the festival with the finest haggis made from high quality Kansas cattle.

The mass amounts of Scottish meat pies, fish and chips, and welsh cakes will make you happy you wore a kilt instead of that pair of skinny jeans, too.

The biggest event of the weekend is the Highland Games for Adults, which is a test of strength and athletic ability.

Ticket Prices:

  • Adults – $16
  • Seniors or Military – $10
  • Two-Day Pass – $22
  • Kids (6 – 15 years old) – $6
  • Wee Ones (Under 6 years old) – FREE
  • Daily Parking – $3

The festivities officially take from 9 a.m. – 10 p.m. Saturday, November 4, and continue at the same time on Sunday.

But don’t feel hornswaggled because Pirate Pub Night begins early on Friday, November 3.

Pirate Pub Night

6 – 10 p.m. Friday, November 3
  • Tickets are $5 and can only be purchased at the gates
  • Come dressed in your best pirate garb
  • Best Legs in a Kilt Contest hosted by Flanagan’s Celtic Corner
  • Games, scavenger hunt, fortune teller, and Scottish Clan torchlight ceremony
  • Celtic food, beer, and vendors TBA
  • Music by Cockswain.

Other performances by Swagger, Highland Way, Aris, Out of Kilters, Steam, Harp Circle, John Good, and a special Fire Dance performance by Cirque Roots.

Children’s activities include games, jumping castles, storytelling, and even a Highland Games for the younger crowd.

Proceeds from the festival will benefit the Tucson Community Food Bank and Youth On Their Own.

The Rillito Race Track is located at 4502 N. 1st Ave. For more information, visit tucsoncelticfestival.org and head over to ticketleap.com to purchase your tickets.
