Chefs Matt Love and Rose Treviso headline Tucson Doobie dinner Sept. 20

Sep 11, 20262 min read

Tucson Doobie brings its infused dinner series back with chefs Matt Love and Rose Treviso on Sunday, Sept. 20. The five-course cannabis dinner runs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. near downtown Tucson. Prime Leaf Dispensary presents the event.

Organizers will email the exact location to ticket holders before the dinner. The event is reserved for Tucson Doobie members, though anyone can join the club during checkout.

A five-course cannabis dinner menu

Chefs Love and Treviso built a five-course menu around bold, playful flavors. The amuse-bouche features goat and cream cheese crab rangoons finished with taki powder and a yuzu sweet and sour sauce.

The appetizer course highlights smoked coffee guajillo tri-tip carne asada frites. Melted Oaxaca cheese, avocado mousse, and purple potato shoestring frites round out the dish.

A cucumber serrano granita palate cleanser follows, served with caramelized chamoy, tajin, and infused mint and basil oil. The main course reimagines the Sonoran hot dog as a tarte tatin, layered with Mexican Coke glazed bacon and jalapeño mustard crema.

Dessert closes the night with a chocolate-glazed gâteau inspired by the classic Gansito snack cake. Strawberry confit, toasted marshmallow mousse, and Mexican vanilla semifreddo complete the plate.

What's included with each ticket

Every ticket covers the five-course dinner, mocktails, and sponsor interactions throughout the evening. Guests also receive a gift bag and the chance to sample various Prime Leaf Dispensary products.

Tucson Doobie has hosted a series of infused dinners with local chefs throughout 2026. Membership unlocks discounts at Tucson dispensaries, access to future infused dinners, and invitations to member mixer events.

Chef Matt Love returns to the Tucson Doobie series

Matt Love has built a following in Tucson's dining scene through collaborative, themed dinners across the city. He joins Rose Treviso of 1989 Bake House for this installment of the Doobie dinner series.

Tickets and membership details

Doobie member tickets cost $110 and include tax and gratuity. Non-member tickets cost $150. Guests can add a first-month Doobie membership for $19 at checkout to unlock the discounted member rate.

Tucson Doobie describes itself as the city's cannabis-focused community for locals who want to explore local dispensary offerings. The club connects members to infused dinners, festival discounts, and mixer events throughout the year.

“Opening this place feels a little surreal. To now have a space where we can bring together coffee, food, art, booze, and all the weird things we love feels like a reflection of how far we’ve come.” —Tyler Melo
