Tucson has an abundance of great street food spread out around town, but now you can try a lot of it in one place.
Powermix Events is teaming up with The Slaughterhouse to host Mexican Munchies Street Food & Music Festival from 2 – 8 p.m on Saturday, April 7.
The Slaughterhouse, which is known for it’s creepy haunted houses, is clearing out the gore to feature at least 20 food vendors, live music from bands and DJs, luchador wrestling, a taco eating competition, micheladas, a Modelo Especial beer garden, and more.
General admission tickets are $15 per person, $20 on the day of the event, and $55 per person if you’d like the VIP experience.
During the event, you’ll be able to get your hands on a plethora of munchies, such as coctel de elote, raspados, tostilocos, caramelos, tacos, churros, paletas, and several other snacks.
Live music will include Spanish rock, reggaeton, hip hop, EDM, cumbias, and more.
The Slaughterhouse is located at 1102 W. Grant Rd. For more information, visit eventbrite.com.
