Marana's Al Gusto Coffee Company doubles its truck fleet

Sep 14, 20262 min read

Marana-based Al Gusto Coffee Company launched a second fully equipped coffee truck, expanding its reach across Southern Arizona.

Owner Aldo Boccaccio founded Al Gusto Coffee Company in 2020, building the business from a single espresso machine into a full mobile coffee operation. The new truck marks six years of growth for the family-owned company.

Meeting demand across Southern Arizona

"Our customers have been asking for more availability, and we're excited to finally make that happen," Boccaccio said.

He also emphasized the time and energy into the expansion.

"Building this second truck has been a labor of love that required months of planning, long days, late nights and an incredible amount of attention to detail," Boccaccio said. "We're grateful to everyone who has supported us on this journey."

A second truck built for flexibility

Like the original vehicle, the new truck is fully self-sufficient. It features professional espresso equipment and a full menu of handcrafted hot and iced beverages, made with coffee roasted specifically for the company.

With two trucks now in operation, Al Gusto Coffee Company can serve multiple events on the same day. That gives clients across the region more scheduling flexibility, especially during busy seasons.

What Al Gusto Coffee Company offers

Al Gusto Coffee Company caters a wide range of events, including:

  • Corporate coffee catering

  • Weddings and receptions

  • Employee appreciation events

  • Grand openings and ribbon cuttings

  • Schools and universities

  • Healthcare appreciation events

  • Festivals and community celebrations

  • Church gatherings

  • Private parties and special occasions

Beyond mobile catering, the company sells freshly roasted coffee beans online and through select local retail partners.

Booking both trucks

Al Gusto Coffee Company is now accepting bookings for both trucks. Organizations and event planners are encouraged to reserve dates early, particularly heading into the busy fall and holiday season.

For booking information, contact Al Gusto Coffee Company at (520) 338-9760 or info@algustocoffeeco.com, or visit algustocoffeeco.com.

After 4pm, @Talegacoffee at 177 N. Church Ave. transforms into @_Velvetcowboy, serving cocktails, tapas, and late-night bar energy. Velvet Cowboyโ€™s grand opening is Oct. 16, with upcoming events including drag brunches, DJs, and live music.๐Ÿชฉ

This weekendโ€™s hours are Saturday from 2pm to midnight and Sunday from noon to 10pm. Featured in this video is the Chilte(penis) martini special, made with chiltepin vodka, agua de chiltepin, and pickle juice, available until they sell out.๐Ÿธ

โ€œOpening this place feels a little surreal. To now have a space where we can bring together coffee, food, art, booze, and all the weird things we love feels like a reflection of how far weโ€™ve come.โ€ โ€”Tyler Melo
