The Gastronomic Union of Tucson Deception Dinner at The Carriage House

August 12, 2019
By Matt Sterner

A culinary journey through six courses.

To wrap up the Gastronomic Union of Tucson’s summer culinary experience, The Carriage House is hosting a “deception” dinner from 6 – 9 p.m. on Sunday, August 25.

This particular feast will be geared towards all of your senses, and will feature “treats of trickery” as the G.U.T. chefs serve up food that’s not as it seems — promising to delight and dumbfound you a little bit.

Tickets are $75 and include a welcome cocktail and wine or chefs’ choice of beverage.

Hors d’oeuvre and welcome cocktails will begin at 6 p.m.

(GMT-07:00)

Deception Dinner Participating Chefs

  • Michael Elefante of Mama Louisa’s
  • Roderick Ledesma of PY Steakhouse
  • Ken Foy of Dante’s Fire
  • Mary Steiger of Gourmet Girls Gluten Free Bakery/Bistro
  • David Solorzano of Penca
  • Nohemi Estrada of Eurest
  • Two dozen additional culinary colleagues

The menu is yet to be released, but you can check out the glamour of the past summer culinary experience dinners to get an idea.

The Carriage House is located at 125. S. Arizona Ave. For more deception dinner information and to grab your tickets, visit eventbrite.com.
