“Taco Tuesday in Tucson” is a column where we explore the unique tacos stands throughout Tucson… on Tuesdays.
It’s a day that’s loved by many because it involves delicious tacos, and luckily for Taco Tuesday fans in Tucson, there are more than enough options out there.
Today, we’re shining a light on Toro Loco Tacos y Burros, but not because of their burros stuffed with French Fries, and because of their delicious tacos, of course.
Having tasted about half of the menu, the Tucson Foodie team loves the popular favorites. The Pork Pastor Taco also deserves a special mention — juicy with just the right amount of char and sweetness.
If you can handle the heat, try the Hot Habanero Taco with carne asada, bacon, jack cheese, chipotle mayo, hot salsa, and a mountain of sliced pickled habanero.
Operating hours are 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. daily. If you’d rather eat at home or juggle the tacos in your hands while operating a vehicle, Toro Loco is also offering takeout and delivery.
