By popular request, Tucson Foodie has started a series of vegan meals on Mondays. Look out for our meat-free meal every so often on Monday.
It’s a brand new week and perhaps you’ve got an unfamiliar craving making a scene deep down on your grumblin’ belly.
This week, Ermanos Craft Beer and Wine Bar has you covered if you’re looking for a meatless treasure on Fourth Avenue.
For one day only on Monday, May 17, they’re dishing out a Marinated Portobello Mushroom Sandwich with vino goat cheese, Muhammara, and arugula on a toasted brioche bun. If you’ve never tasted Muhammara before, it’s a Syrian dip made with walnuts and roasted peppers. From the words of Ermanos’ staff, it’s “savory, subtly sweet with just enough of spice.”
If you’re unable to get down there before it vanishes from the menu, don’t fret because they’ve got a menu full of other tasty surprises, with one-off specialty items making frequent appearances.
The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. on Sunday – Thursday, and 11 a.m. – midnight on Friday and Saturday.
