Some folks say that the holidays are the most wonderful time of the year, but others beg to differ. For example, when it’s cookie season — Girl Scout Cookie Season, that is — eaters go berserk while collecting their favorite flavors.
When you’re not busy at home rummaging through the haul of cookies you recently purchased from the Girl Scouts, check out some of these cookie-themed events, which involve beer, happening around the wonderful city of Tucson.
Also, if you haven’t bought any cookies yet and are looking for a cookie booth near you, they’ve got a handy dandy tool to help you plan ahead.
From noon – 11 p.m., it’s officially cookie time at Catalina Brewing Company. Drop by because they’re pairing up the perfect cookie with the perfect beer — all to create a harmonious experience, of course.
It’s also going to be a location where you can pick up a few boxes and take ’em home. You’re more than welcome to eat them in the taproom, too.

Throughout the day on Saturday, January 22, Dillinger Brewing is hosting a beer and cookie pairing party at its Fourth Avenue taproom location. Additionally, they’ll have boxes for sale so you can take a hefty load home.

The taproom on the north side of town is kicking off Girl Scout Cookie season with a beer and cookie flight by MotoSonora Brewing Company or a wine and cookie flight with Sand-Reckoner Vineyards.
The gifts keep on giving because a certain percentage of the proceeds will benefit Girl Scout Troop 157 and the participating Girl Scouts on-site. Therefore, bring some cash because they’ll be selling boxes to-go.

On Saturday, February 19, the Tucson Roadrunners are offering a special ticket offer to all Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona. Each Girl Scout will receive a complimentary ticket with a paid adult ticket. Additionally, they’re giving away Kachina Youth Jersey — while supplies last — before the game if you get there early enough.
