Ja Ramen has finished moving into the former Stackd spot at 54 W. Congress St., which is found between Street Taco & Beer Co. and Perche’ No Italian Bistro.

One thing’s for sure and it’s that they’re ramen, curry bowls, and scrumptious dumplings are on the menu. What’s also enticing is that downtown eaters have another new spot to visit for lunch or dinner.

Those who have visited the midtown location are also aware of its assortment of Japanese appetizers, mochi ice cream, taiyaki, soju, beer, and wine. Expect the same menu inside the 2,600-square-foot space downtown.

With the original location found on Campbell Avenue, Ja Ramen is referring to the downtown location as its third Tucson restaurant. There’s a second location coming to the food court inside the Tucson Mall but it has yet to open — the spot on Congress won the race as far as debuts go.

Keep an eye out for that mall option and in the meantime order up something tasty at the other two locations. The downtown spot is open from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. daily (subject to change).

In other news, the local franchisee is riding a bit of momentum. Currently, they’ve got a few other restaurants in the works but they’ll be found outside of Arizona. University Park, Florida, Port Charlotte, Florida, and Vancouver, Washington will soon have a Ja Ramen to call their own.

Ja Ramen is located at 54 W. Congress St. and 2643 N. Campbell Ave. For more information and to keep up on the latest, visit thejaramen.com.
