"We need your help, Tucson."

The east side bakery, La Baguette Parisienne, has been a community staple for years. The original owners of the shop at Pantano Road and Broadway Boulevard passed the torch to new owners, Kim Ireland and EJ Marx, back in November 2022, keeping the community’s bellies warm with baked goods.

Now, they’re warming up hearts with a fundraiser for a friend and local DJ who’s currently in the hospital. The bakery shared the following on social media:

“Our dear friend and amazing local DJ @bigbrotherbeats is currently fighting for his life in the hospital. This young husband and father has given our community countless fun times and memories with his talents. Starting today, and to honor Andy’s love of music, we are selling these amazing and delicious hand-decorated vinyl record cookies for only $5 each.”

La Baguette Parisienne is donating 100% of the proceeds to the family and is matching and doubling all sales. Additionally, there is a donation jar if you’d like to toss in any extra change.

“Please consider helping us to support this amazing man. Thank you, Tucson.”

The bakery is open 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Tuesday – Sunday and closed on Monday.

La Baguette Parisienne is located at 7851 E. Broadway Blvd. For more information, call (520) 296-1711, visit labaguetteparisienne.com, or follow La Baguette Parisienne on Instagram.
