Mojo Cuban Kitchen & Rum Bar is now serving a weekend brunch menu

In October 2022, Mojo Cuban Kitchen & Rum Bar opened its doors near the corner of Grant Road and Campbell Avenue, bringing the tastes, sounds, and atmosphere of Havana to Tucson. If you still haven’t been by, Mojo’s menu, which is pronounced mo-ho and means “Caribbean garlic sauce” in Spanish, is a nod to Cuban culinary traditions with a taste of other modern expressions, too.

Expect that same flair with the brand-new brunch menu that’s making its debut on Saturday, April 1.

The menu is still in the final stages, but from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on every Saturday and Sunday, Mojo will be delivering dishes like its Cuban-Style French Toast. The dish is made with Cuban bread, rum, cinnamon, and freshly cracked egg batter. It’s then topped with guava, sweetened condensed milk, and housemade whipped cream.

Any of the dishes that make their way to the final brunch menu will go nicely with Mojo’s unique cocktail menu.

At the full-service bar, prepare yourself for a collection of rums designed both for sipping and mixing up traditional cocktails. Mojitos, Cuba Libres, Piña Coladas, and Daquiris — all drinks Ernest Hemingway would’ve enjoyed while living near Havana.

Again, brunch is only available Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. The restaurant’s regular hours of operation are 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. on Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 10 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Sunday.
