‘Wings y Más’ to Open Soon on Prince Road (MENU)

July 6, 2023
By Matt Sterner

There once was a bar named Elbow Room. After some renovations and some nationally televised spotlight on the reality show “Bar Rescue,” it became The Billy Bar. However, the bar closed its doors in April 2023 — freeing up space for something new to open in the building.

Wings y Más has landed and is preparing to open its doors on Friday, July 7 at 1145 W. Prince Rd., which is between Fairview Avenue and Flowing Wells Road. The hours of operation will be 10:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday – Monday (closed on Tuesday).

The new restaurant has more than 10 flavors of wings for its big debut including Salt & Vinegar, Garlic Parmesan, Lemon Pepper, Ranch, Cajun, Teriyaki, Grand Canyon Gold, Sweet & Spicy, AZ Heat, GC Heat, Medium, Hot, and a housemade Chiltepin. You’ve got the choice of a dozen bone-in or boneless wings (up to two flavors) or four-dozen, six-dozen, and a mighty eight-dozen.

You’re probably wondering what the más is in the name. Well, it’s actually quite a bit.

Wings y Más will offer nachos, chips with homemade salsa, Tostitos Preparados (a bag of chips with chamoy, cucumber, carrot, peanuts, lime, and Tajín), beer battered fries, loaded tots (bacon and cheese or bacon and ranch), and a couple of salads.

Desserts are flyin’ out of the coop, too, and into your arms. They’ll be serving Churro Bites, a Fizzy Float with vanilla ice cream and your choice of soda, and then Chicken Feathers — waffles with chocolate and crispy wafer bites.

Keep scrolling to check out the full menu, which is set to debut on Friday, July 7, 10:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
