Trident Grill III is Permanently Closing its Doors on Craycroft Road

September 5, 2023
By Matt Sterner

As of Friday, September 8, Trident Grill III will be permanently closing its doors at 250 S. Craycroft Rd. No specific reason was given for the closure and the last day to eat, order a beer, and chat with the restaurant’s staff is Thursday, September 7.

The sports bar first opened its doors in 2017, which was a former Tilted Kilt, next to Tucson Coffee Roasters and Miss Saigon. During Trident Grill III’s final day on Thursday, they’ll be open from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.

We do have some good news, though.

Trident Grill II on Swan Road is hosting a grand reopening on Friday, September 8. The midtown location has been temporarily closed for restaurant renovations.

After Thursday, there will still be three other Trident Grill locations and a Trident Pizza Pub. Stay tuned because this may not be the end of Trident Grill III — perhaps the owners have another location in their sights.

Trident Grill is located at 2033 E. Speedway Blvd., 2910 N. Swan Rd., and 2912 W. Ina Rd. Trident Pizza Pub can be found at 446 N. Campbell Ave. For more information, visit tridentgrill.com.
