What to Eat & Drink at the 2023 Fourth Avenue Winter Street Fair

December 4, 2023
By Matt Sterner

Twice a year, the Fourth Avenue Merchants Association (FAMA) hosts the bi-annual tradition just in time for the holidays in December and then again during Tucson’s near-perfect weather in March.

The Winter Street Fair will take place from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Friday, December 8 – Saturday, December 9, and then 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 10.

For more than 50 years now, the family-friendly tradition has brought over 350,000 people to the Old Pueblo. The fair hosts artists from around the world, local and regional food, live entertainment, and offers something for everyone of all ages. The Fourth Avenue Street Fair is recognized locally, nationally, and internationally and there are usually more than 400 booths stretched out along the Avenue.

The three-day event has been recognized as a “Top 100 Event in the World” for the last 28 years, and once you experience the fair for yourself, it’s apparent why it receives so much praise. Shop, eat, drink, and embrace the local community!

The Winter Street Fair will offer live music daily on two stages, street performers, tarot card readers, henna tattoos, face painting, the Euro trampoline is back, and Santa Claus will make an appearance at Haggarty Plaza (Saturday and Sunday from from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.).

The fair is a perfect stop for all your holiday shopping but get a load of all of these food vendors.
