Obon is always keeping things fresh when it comes to the menu.

Recently, the downtown restaurant has brought in some new dishes, a Happy Hour that’s equipped with discounted appetizers and sushi, and a handful of crafty cocktails.

More importantly, there’s a brand-new margarita you need to try sooner rather than later. If you’re reading this on Thursday, February 22, you’re in for a treat because today happens to be National Margarita Day. Party on!

The new margarita to hit the menu is the Shiso Spicy — a sweet and spicy margarita that contains flavors of juicy watermelon and hints of Japanese shiso. It’s easy on the eyes and it’s even better to consume. This margarita is refreshing as heck and don’t be too startled by its name — the level of heat isn’t that intimidating.
