
The holiday has become widely celebrated here in the U.S., making for a fun time at bars and restaurants around Tucson. Similar to previous years, there’s plenty of food, beer, margaritas, and good old-fashioned fun happening on Monday, May 5.
There are a few options out there, so take a peek if you need help making a decision.

Sabores de Tucson — America’s Best Mexican Food Festival — is happening on Friday, May 2, at the Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa, 3800 E. Sunrise Dr.
The event is all about the diverse flavors of Mexico’s culinary region — more than 30 local chefs and purveyors, live music, artisan vendors, and art experiences. Through food, you’ll be transported to Mexico, celebrating the heart and soul of Mexican culture.
On Saturday, May 3, the Marana bar will be hosting tequila representatives, a raffle, piñata, a DJ, ring toss, and tattoos.
They’re hosting a Cinco de Mayo celebration on Monday, May 5, from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Specials:
They’re kicking things off on Friday, May 2, at 10 p.m., with Hornitos and -196 Vodka Seltzer samples. Then, on Monday, May 5, at 9 p.m., they’ll be giving out Patrón samples with DJs from 9 p.m. – 1 a.m.
Tios and Tias is taking over the Hotel Congress Plaza on Sunday, May 4, from 2 – 8 p.m., for a special pre-Cinco de Mayo bash. “Enjoy a feel-good and timeless backyard vibe (funk, freestyle, oldies, hip-hop, R&B throwbacks, and Latin).
The restaurant at Omni Tucson National Resort is celebrating Cinco de Mayo throughout the weekend, Saturday, May 3 to Monday, May 5.

From Saturday, May 3 to Monday, May 5, the rooftop bar is hosting DJs, live bands, and drink specials.
The restaurant group (La Chingada, CRUDA, The Neighborhood, and Antojitos) will have five days of Cinco de Mayo specials from Thursday, May to Monday, May 5.
On Monday, May 5, Redbird will have a $5 margarita special. There are three flavors to choose from: classic, mango, and strawberry — all made with Milagro silver tequila.
Celebrate Cinco de Mayo a day early with brunch at the resort on Sunday, May 4, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
