East Tucson Sonoran-Italian restaurant Zio Peppe has a brunch menu in the works, and you’re invited to taste before anyone else.
From 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Dec. 7, chefs Mat Cable and Christian Padilla will host a four-course brunch with drink pairings for $65 per person for Tucson Foodie Insiders or $85 per person for non-members, plus tax and tip.
Limoncello-Cured Salmon
Heritage grain bread, shallot–chiltepin jam, crème fraîche
Machaca Frittata
Potato, onion, arugula, confit tomato, broccolini, saffron crema
Relleno Ranchero
Striploin, local mushroom relleno, basil–calabacita salsa, pecorino
Buttermilk Popcorn Budino
Cajeta, candied pepitas
