Each year, Easter is a day that sees many traditions come and go. From street parades to egg hunts, there’s an index of associated activities. One routine that has maintained popularity is Easter brunch. Below are nine places serving Easter brunch this year ranging from traditional to non-traditional.

Hilton El Conquistador Resort

Hilton El Conquistador’s Easter brunch features live music, egg hunts, and brunch from 10:30am to 3pm. Look for spring salads, berry assortments, cheese and charcuterie plates, a carving station with honey ham, sea salt and black pepper steamship round beef, and rosemary lamb. Chef specialties include sea bass, chicken verde, shrimp cocktail and smoked trout, with sides such as glazed carrots, BBQ squash and Sonoran mashed potatoes.

Breakfast options feature an omelet bar, eggs florentine, crepes, a chocolate fondue station, pies, cakes, and pastries. Adults can eat for $59/person, kids ages 6-12 for $19 and children under 5 eat free.

The Foothills resort will be offering an entire weekend of activities from egg hunts to lawn games to live music. The hotel’s AZuL Restaurant & Lounge will offer a Good Friday menu including their Harvest salad (roasted carrots and beets, radish, nuts, seeds, horseradish), grilled pork chop, gluten-free chicken with potatoes and greens, organic salmon, and a gluten-free Mayan chocolate comet. Three course meal starts at $40/person and $55 with wine pairings.

Saturday features Easter mimosas, a Brush & Bottle event, which invites guests to try their hand at painting while enjoying more drinks, and Easter Sunday, AZuL will host brunch from 9:30am to 12:30pm. Easter egg hunts for kids and local art showcases will take place in the Serenity Garden. Poppy Kitchen will serve Sunday dinner from 5 – 9:30pm with half off all wine bottles, a prime rib special and lobster dinner.

Executive Chef Jared Scott has a three-course Easter lineup this year starting at $49/person with kids menus available. The brunch is Sunday from 9am to 3pm accompanied by a $9 bottomless champagne bar.

The first course options include eggs benedict with smoked trout, spinach and blueberry compote, challah French toast with bacon, and frittata with an onion blend, gruyère and roasted fennel.

The second course features confit chicken with pancetta and sweet potato hash, haricot vert sauté with pickled shallot and watercress, coffee rubbed hanger steak, and hunter salad (kale, endive, dried fruit, nuts, herb dressing). The dessert will be a carrot cake with sea salted caramel and carrot cream cheese ice cream.

For a non-traditional and less structured Easter experience, check out RA Sushi. Happy hour is offered all day with over 25 appetizer and sushi selections consisting of Las Vegas rolls, Rainbow rolls, and Chicken Yakitori. All happy hour dishes range from $3.49 to $8.99, while beer, wine and cocktails are priced between $3.75 and $8. Popular happy hour drinks include Kirin beers with sake, Emperor’s margarita, and a Strawberry Saketini.

For a Southern style meal that will make any holiday, The Parish will be offering an entire Easter menu all day Sunday with several enticing dishes featuring:

Easter Basket Rabbit – Oven roasted rabbit, with wild mushroom and caramelized carrot butter puree.

Bacon & Eggs – Braised pork belly, with spicy lemon hollandaise, poached egg, and mustard seed caviar served over crisp white cheddar grit cake.

Giant Homemade Bagel – House cured lox, bacon and chive cream cheese, with smoked tomato vinaigrette tossed greens.

Desserts – Smoke white chocolate egg with frosted Chinese five spice carrot cake, and lemon tart with raspberry coulis and crispy pop rocks.

Agustin Kitchen is a Tucson favorite offering an Easter brunch worth waking up early for. From 10 to 3pm, Chef Ryan Clark will be starting off with a spinach salad that comes with apple, blue cheese, candied pecans and honey dressing, or a lamb barley soup. Sous Chef Brandon Dillon will serve his house cured Berkshire ham with butter mashed potatoes, green bean almondine, grilled pineapple and cherry gravy. For dessert, there is the Heirloom carrot cake with caramel marshmallows and carrot chips. The Easter day meal starts at $35/person, plus tax and gratuities. Regular brunch menu also available.

The always busy Cup Cafe has a holiday menu certainly worth checking out. The menu will be available from 9 to 4pm, in addition to the regular menu, and includes a build-your-own Bloody Mary bar starting at 10am.

Featured items include:

Smoked Atlantic Salmon Benedict ($16) – Smoked salmon, creamed spinach, poached eggs, caviar with whole grain mustard hollandaise and breakfast potatoes.

Rabbit Hash ($15) – Braised rabbit, sweet potato, turkey chorizo baked in a skillet with two fried eggs, béarnaise sauce.

Pork Porterhouse ($19) – Grilled bone in chop with cheddar grits, garlic swiss chard with an apple butter vinaigrette.

Desserts – Fried bread pudding bites with Nutella for dipping ($9) or a s’more coated with chocolate and rolled in graham cracker crumbs ($1).
