A new tea-focused gathering spot arrives in Oro Valley
Bloom Tea has officially opened its doors in Oro Valley, offering loose-leaf teas, matcha drinks, and a community-focused atmosphere designed for connection.
The new tea shop sits at 12115 N. Oracle Rd., Suite 145. Owners Sultana and Brian Anderson created the space with a vision centering on slowing down, sharing tea, and building meaningful relationships.
“We serve an expansive selection of loose-leaf teas in a comfortable, inclusive space designed for slowing down and connecting,” Brian said.
A third space built around connection
Bloom Tea positions itself as more than a tea shop. Instead, the owners designed the space as a welcoming “third place” between home and work.
“We believe meaningful connections are the foundation of well-being,” the owners shared on their website.
Additionally, Sultana and Brian bring complementary backgrounds to the project — Sultana works as a mental health therapist, while Brian works as a tech coach.
“Sultana, a mental health therapist, and Brian, a tech coach, dreamed of creating a space where people feel truly seen, supported, and connected,” they said.
A menu focused on tea, matcha, and house-made flavors
Bloom Tea offers an extensive list of loose-leaf teas across several styles. Guests will find herbal tisanes, black teas, green teas, oolongs, and pu’er selections.
Meanwhile, tea lattes highlight drinks like matcha, hojicha, spiced chai, golden milk, and London fog. Seasonal options include evergreen matcha and toasted marshmallow hojicha.
Additionally, the menu features refreshing drinks like matcha spritz, prickly pear soda, and desert-inspired iced teas.
“Our matcha drinks keep people coming back, especially alongside house-made syrups and locally baked goods,” Anderson said. “Don’t sleep on the scones.”
Light bites and pastries round out the experience
Alongside tea drinks, Bloom Tea offers small bites and sweets.
Guests can order scones with jam or lemon curd, muffins, cookies, and assorted pastries. Meanwhile, a matchagato combines matcha and ice cream for a dessert-style drink.
The shop also serves coffee drinks, including pour-over coffee, cold brew, café chai lattes, and housemade cocoa.
A reservable community space
Beyond drinks and snacks, Bloom Tea includes a reservable community space.
The owners designed the area for gatherings, small events, and collaborative meetups.
“We also offer a reservable community space for gatherings, events, and collaboration,” Anderson said.
Furthermore, the team hopes the space becomes a regular meeting point for conversations, board games, and neighborhood connections.
“Bloom Tea brings that vision to life—a welcoming third space to gather, relax, and recharge,” Brian said.
