Hey, it’s nearly Pumpkin Spice Season!
We’ve been getting a good amount of fluffy clouds hovering over the city, allowing some of us creatures of the Earth to think that it’s already fall/autumn. Then, that summer sun pokes its head around the monsoon storms and reminds us to lather on the sunscreen and crank the AC.
I mean, Spirit Halloween Stores have already opened so it has to be fall, right?
Café à La C’Art is ready for the fall season, too, and they have a new lineup of pumpkin-themed beverages you must check out as soon as possible at 150 N. Main Ave.

It’s available now for a limited time and the Café à La C’Art team is calling it one of their “best fall drink menus yet.”
Some of the highlights include the Spiced Pumpkin Latte — made with Arbuckle’s espresso, housemade pumpkin spice syrup, milk, whip, and a dash of nutmeg (can be served hot or iced) — and the Spiced Apple Margarita, which is a mixture of Herradura Reposada tequila, Monin hot honey, lemon, housemade apple cider, and finished with a cinnamon sugar rim.
Autumn Beverage Menu

The menu has a wide range of classic breakfast and lunch dishes, and also a few “Brunch Specialties” to choose from. Some of the brunch bites include Chilaquiles, Salmon Cake Benedict, Southwestern Avocado Toast, and a Market Skillet, which is rosemary potatoes topped with two eggs, caramelized onions, avocado, zucchini, red peppers, parmesan, and feta.
If you’re looking for something simple and nostalgic, order a short or full stack of pancakes.
Café a la C’Art is also a Restaurant Partner, meaning that Tucson Foodie Insiders can score $10 off their meal every six months.
The café is closed on Monday and Tuesday and then open from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Wednesday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday – Sunday. Don’t forget — they also offer full-service catering!
Café a la C’Art is located at 150 N. Main Ave. For more information, visit cafealacarttucson.com.

Matt Sterner
More about MattAt a very young age, Matt Sterner was gifted with the artistic ability to masterfully roll a burrito to the highest of standards, but the wrapped medley of delicious innards wasn’t his first love. Matt’s first true love was a combination of reading, writing, and creating. He grew up reading comics, the ingredients list of his shampoo and conditioner bottles, choose-your-own-adventure books, and the Scrabble dictionary — something he found useful when challenging his grandmother to a game.
He attended college at New Mexico State University and graduated with a degree in Digital Filmmaking. One of his favorite classes was screenwriting because he became responsible for the story’s birth before it came to life on-screen. After school, Matt took on numerous positions at a local television station in Tucson. From dealing out stories about heartbreak to producing “fluffier” content for a lifestyle broadcast, he learned what it takes to adapt to the many emotions the world of media can stir. Since 2017, Matt has dabbled in the culinary world of Tucson as well as San Diego, California from time to time.
If you’re in the mood for strange stories, head over to his pride and joy, wonkytimes.com. And in case you’re curious — yes, after all of this time, he still manages to roll a killer burrito.
