The drinking spot and destination for live jazz and blues is coming back.
Chicago Bar, located at 5954 E. Speedway Blvd., is opening its doors once again with live music by Neon Prophet on Thursday, April 15.

When it comes to live music at Chicago Bar, Neon Prophet will set the stage for nightly enteratinment, – a limited capacity, of course – and will once again be the house band that’s planning to perform every Saturday from 9 .m. – midnight.

Back in June 2020, the popular spot closed up shop due to the COVID-19 pandemic and a major loss of revenue – ending a more than 40-year run in Tucson.

From dealing out stories about heartbreak to producing “fluffier” content for a lifestyle broadcast, he learned what it takes to adapt to the many emotions the world of media can stir. Since 2017, Matt has dabbled in the culinary world of Tucson as well as San Diego, California from time to time.
