Elvira’s Happy Hour & Late Night Menu Highlights from Tucson Foodie on Vimeo.
Elvira’s Restaurant Tequila Cocina Vino is joining the late night dining fray.
The Late Menu is now available Friday and Saturday nights from 10 p.m. – midnight. Those who don’t want to wait until weekend nights can get the same items during Elvira’s happy hour menu from 3 – 5 p.m. from Tuesday through Sunday.
While Elvira’s has been serving fine dining inspired by Mexico City since April, the late night and happy hour menus feature more approachable items. The menus will also be dynamic and rotate items at Chef de Cuisine Adrian Castillo’s whim.
Current Late Menu Highlights
Castillo’s twist on the Torta Cubana features pulled pork as the base filling, while kimchi and pickled red onions provide funky tang and sweetness. A side of Pommes Frites with parmesan truffle aioli makes a hefty meal.
For pasta, order a bowl of the Spicy Chile Cascabel Bolognese. Orecchiette pasta is dressed with the meat sauce warmed up by cascabel chile. Grated Grana Padano provides additional savory notes and salt.

Mochomos are a regional specialty featuring crispy shredded beef with limes, salsa fresca, and hot corn tortillas.
Classic Guacamole is dressed up with pomegranate seeds. Upgrade to the Spicy Tuna Tartare, where the guacamole the base underneath spicy tuna and mango with crispy tortilla strips.

Tacos will stay in the rotation with fillings ranging from tender lengua to crispy panko-crusted fish. The tortilla is sometimes swapped out with a large, thin round of jicama, providing a refreshing crunch.
Keep up with Elvira’s on Facebook.
