Do you love street food but prefer to eat at a table?
Hotel Congress launched food trailer, Plaza Eats, on Friday, February 22.
The food trailer, which rests on the well-equipped patio of Hotel Congress, is part of a major renovation in progress for the plaza, which plans to include an amphitheater.
Menu offerings range from Cup Cafe classics such as Picacho Nachos to street food options from around the world.
We ate the entire menu and snapped photos, so take a peek below.
BBQ Real Thing Burger ($8)

If you love Western cheeseburgers with barbecue sauce, this will be your jam. This gourmet take features a one third-pound chuck patty, cheddar, roasted jalapeño, barbecue sauce, crispy fried onions, and dill pickle on a brioche bun.
Beyond Burger ($8)

The vegan, plant-based Beyond Burger is one of the most beef-like patties on the market right now. Plaza Eats’ version showcases the patty with avocado, lettuce, tomato, onion, and dill pickle on a brioche bun.
Papas Fritas ($6)

These crunchy fries come with malt vinegar aioli.
Poutine ($10)

This big ol’ price is attached to the priciest dish on the menu, even though it’s only $10. This version features traditional cheese curds with a rich smoked house gravy.
Picacho Nacho ($7)

This Cup Cafe classic is layered with jack cheese, bean dip, chili con queso, peppers, tomato, onions, and fire-roasted salsa.
Street Corn ($5)

This local favorite features grilled corn on skewers dressed with jalapeño aioli, pico de gallo, cotija cheese, and cilantro.
Lettuce Wraps (two for $5)

Another Cup Cafe classic, these lettuce wraps feature chickpea fritters with pickled vegetables, smoked cashews, and harissa vinaigrette.
Veggie Tacos (two for $6)

Choose from:
- Papa y Chile – flour tortillas, roasted potatoes, poblano peppers, jalapeño aioli, cabbage, pickled red onions, cilantro
- Falafel – corn tortillas, chickpea fritter, cabbage, pickled jalapeño, cilantro, vegan harissa crema
Bennys Burro ($8)

This beast of a burro features carne asada, sour cream, cowboy beans, pico de gallo, asadero cheese, and jack cheese.
HOCO Hot Wings ($6)

Six crunchy, juicy wings (Tamarind Barbecue or AZ Gunslinger Buffalo) come with pickled veggies and your choice of ranch or blue cheese dressing.
Plaza Eats is located at 311 E. Congress St. Operating hours are 9 p.m. – 2 a.m. Thursday, 5 p.m. – 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday. For more information, visit hotelcongress.com.
