The Heirloom Farmer Markets have multiple locations around town, providing goods for the masses, but now the group of local vendors is setting up a new spot in the heart of Tucson’s east side.
Udall Park — officially known as Morris K. Udall Park — is the newest spot you can explore on Friday mornings. The current schedule is from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. during the winter and then 8 a.m. – noon in the summer.
While a farmers market was added at Udall Park, one was taken away. The Trail Dust Town location, which has hosted a market for the last four years, is making its way over to Udall Park, where it originated back in 2010.
“One of the reasons I wanted the city to get full use of the park from the Bureau of Land Management is so we could bring back the Farmers Market,” said Ward 2 Council member Paul Cunningham, who’s also one of the market’s partners. “People in the area were always asking about it. It will be a great asset for Udall Park and the east side in general.”
The market at Udall Park has 18 vendors that typically dish out organic produce, farm-fresh eggs, Arizona grass-fed beef, local honey, freshly roasted coffee, baked goods, salsa, tortillas, roasted vegetables, pet products, soaps and more.

If you’re not familiar with the Heirloom Farmers Markets, Udall Park Farmers Market is just one of five markets offering fresh local produce and goods. If traveling to Tucson’s east side isn’t for you, there’s surely another market nearby that’ll be worth a trip.
