If you’ve been to the grocery store or answered your ringing doorbell lately, you already know that it is Girl Scout Cookie season. It’s seemingly impossible to escape the precariously stacked piles of Thin Mints, Tagalongs and Samoas.
Before you indulge at home by yourself, consider elevating your Girl Scout cookie experience at the “Corks & Cookies: Girl Scout Cookies & Wine Pairing Event.”
On Thursday, February 18 from 4 to 8pm, The Living Room Wine Café and Lounge at La Encantada is hosting a special Girls Night Out, pairing some of their favorite wines with Girl Scouts’ classic cookies and special remixed desserts.
Wines can be purchased by the glass or as a flight. Local Girl Scouts will have cookies available for purchase nearby so that you can continue the party at home.
The Living Room’s full menu will also be available.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Girls Scouts of Southern Arizona. One-hundred percent of the proceeds from the Cookie Program stay in Southern Arizona to support local Girl Scouting and the Girl Scout Leadership Experience through council-sponsored programs, events activities and scholarships for girls as well as cookie rewards.
