Pumpkin carving and caramel apples are fun wholesome autumn activities for the family, but the clean-up isn’t so fun. The solution is to not do it at home.
Creative Tribe Workshop is partnering with Whole Foods Market for Pumpkin Carving & Caramel Apple Bar Community Event from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 16 at the Brings Building.
The patio at the Brings Building will transform into an urban pumpkin patch with pumpkin carving, a caramel apple dipping bar, cider, and family photo opportunities.
“We want to provide an opportunity for everyone to enjoy seasonal traditions without having to drive out to a pumpkin patch,” said Theresa Delaney, Creative Tribe Workshop founder. “With help from Whole Foods, we’re excited to offer an afternoon of delicious eats and creative, interactive fun.”
Tools are provided for the pumpkin carving activity, so don’t worry about having to wing it with your kitchen tools. As a bonus, you can take your seeds home as well to toast into a fall-favorite snack.
The caramel apple bar is highly customizable with apple slices, caramel, dark chocolate, mini chocolate chips, crushed peanuts, mini marshmallows, graham cracker crumbs, cinnamon sugar, and shredded coconut. Beverages such apple cider and tea are available as well.
Admission is $18 for adults, and free for children ten and under. Entry is limited and ticket sales end Wednesday, October 12.
