The weather and outdoor dining is the perfect pair right now, and more restaurants are taking advantage of Tucson’s unique climate.
The Coronet, which has been temporarily closed, is reopening its doors with patio-only dining and new dishes on Thursday, November 5.
The patio seating comes after months of planning and preparing for a socially distanced experience, and the new bites you’ll discover on the menu are from the mind of their new chef Tanner Fleming.
“We have taken the utmost care with our systems and protocols,” said Sally Kane, partner at The Coronet. “Come enjoy dining out and come support.”
The Coronet’s current hours will be from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Wednesday, 8 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Thursday – Sunday, and serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
A partnership with SouthWinds Farm is still going strong, which can be enjoyed in their salads, most of the pickles on the menu, and a majority of the vegetables. The flavors of Barrio Bread are present as well in their morning toasts, and then in the evening with dishes like the Paprika Garlic Mushrooms, Roasted Artichokes, and clams.
With the grand reopening there comes some entertainment, too. The Gabriel Naim Amor Trio will be performing live from 6 – 9 p.m. on Thursday, November 5.
The Coronet moved into the former space of Cushing Street Bar & Restaurant back in August of 2019, and now the crew is excited to continue their journey at the fairly new spot.
