The Grate Date: Cooking Class for Two
7 p.m. Thursday, June 2 • $95 per person until June 1 or $100 per person at the door
Social DoGooder is partnering with the Carriage House to present The Grate Date: Cooking Class for Two. After a cocktail demonstration with aphrodisiac ingredients, Chef Janos Wilder will teach you how to cook the main course. Afterward, you’ll enjoy the table-service three-course dinner featuring the Downtown Caesar with garlic crouton and grana padano, El Presidio Pan-Fried Chicken with calabacitas con queso, black beans, salsa fresca, and cilantro tomato beurre blanc, and Oaxacan Bread Pudding with cinnamon ice cream and mezcal hard sauce. Proceeds support Cafe 54.

Gourmet Cucina Mexicana
11 a.m. Saturday, June 4 • $60 per person

Chef Maria Mazon from Boca Tacos y Tequila will share the authentic flavors of Sonora she experienced growing up. Even though her personality is enough to brighten your day, her inventive salsas and other creative cuisine will make you return for her future classes.

- 6 p.m. Friday, June 10 – The Lost Restaurants of Tucson Dinner, inspired by local writer Rita Connelly’s book, Lost Restaurants of Tucson, includes appetizers, wine pairings, and five courses prepared by chefs from some of the beloved closed restaurants such as Café Terra Cotta, Jerome’s, The Palomino, and Fuego. $125 per person.
- 11 a.m. Saturday, June 11 – Executive Chef Mike Bryer from Maynards Market & Kitchen presents Classical French with a Modern Twist. Join for his interpretations on Moules à la Marinière, Coquilles Saint-Jacques, Pork Rillettes, Gruyere Gougères, and Peach Melba Flambe. $60 per person.
