Açaí bowl cafe Açaí Brasil will host its Tucson location soft opening at 2639 E. Broadway Blvd. in the Sol Block on Broadway at 9 a.m. on Saturday, September 20. They will feature 30 percent off all items along with additional surprise promotions and discounts during the first week.
A menu rooted in Brazil
Açaí Brasil opened its first location in Houston, Texas. The café sources açaí fruit directly from Pará, Brazil. The menu also features pitaya bowls, smoothies, cold-pressed juices, and wellness shots. Every offering is vegan, organic, and gluten-free, emphasizing clean ingredients.
“Our goal was to create a beautiful space where people can enjoy amazing açaí straight from Brazil — minimally sweetened, clean, and without any shortcuts,” Tucson location owner Enrique Villegas said in a press release.
Villegas, also owner of Gracie Barra Tucson Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Self-Defense, hopes Açaí Brasil adds to Tucson’s growing healthy dining landscape.
Accessible prices, customizable options
Build-your-own bowls start at $4.50, while signature bowls range from $12.50 to $20.50. Smoothies run $10.50 to $17.50, juices $8.75 to $15.75, and wellness shots $3.50. The café aims to combine accessibility with authenticity.
A space for students and locals
The interior highlights purple and green branding, natural design details, and a cozy modern atmosphere. Guests can expect free Wi-Fi and ample seating, making the café a welcoming study or hangout spot.
